Kleine Änderungen an Physik und Game-Logik
Vermutlich um der neuen Strecke gerecht zu werden, hat Kunos Änderungen an den Dämpfern vorgenommen (Improved damper simulation), welche nach ersten Erfahrungen ein deutlich härteres Überfahren der Randsteine ermöglichen, ohne dass die Fahrzeuge dabei außer Kontrolle geraten.Außerdem wurde speziell für die Nordschleife eine Joker-Runde eingeführt, bei der man aus der Box kommend nicht die komplette Runde fahren muss, sondern nur die Grand-Prix-Strecke, bevor es auf die gezeitete Runde geht.
